Moonjar moneyboxes were created as a tool for children and families to incorporate strong financial values and practices into their daily lives. The moonjar model is divided into 3 components: spending, sharing and saving. This fun and interactive seminar will teach you how to encourage your children to understand finances early!

From Car Keys to Credit

The earlier you can teach a teenager about money the more prepared they will be to manage their own finances when they are adults. With a few simple tips they can learn to plan for major expenses such as a new snowboard, a computer, or education. I will teach participants basic concepts about spending habits, saving, balancing a checkbook, creating a budget and the importance of good credit.

Wills, Trusts and Probate: Nuts and Bolts

You’ll learn what’s required for a Will. We’ll discuss personal representatives, guardians and trustees.  Other estate planning techniques will also be reviewed.  Powers of Attorney, Living Wills and Community Property Agreements will be covered. When you leave you’ll be familiar with the general estate planning considerations.
